Ways to keep you neighbors from walking in your yard?

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

I have neighbors on the left and right of me, and these neighbors are friends. They cross our yard to get to each others house. My husband and I have asked them to not walk across our lawn as it has worn a path through it. They have not listened! We are getting ready to lay sod and want for our lawn to look really nice, but how can we keep our neighbors out of it so no more paths form? We have thought about fencing around our front yard, but thats a little more of an expense then we need right now. Any suggestions?

Weekend Hiking Trails in Massachusetts?

Sunday, May 31st, 2009

Hi,
My friends and I were trying to find a hiking trail in Massachusetts that would be about 10miles long, making it a fun weekend activity. We need to find a trail that we could sleep over night if we wanted to. Also a river of somesort would be cool to sort of relax by.
Thank You!

How can I stop getting so down on myself about my writing?

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

My friends and professors tell me I am a great writer. But, well, I have many moments when I suffer from suffocating self-doubt … I don’t see the point … I find my writing trite, uninspired, and repetitive.

Is there any way to overcome this self-doubt?
