Anyone who knows what Candlewicking embroidery is?
Saturday, August 22nd, 2009I’m in the Chicago area and I am trying to find Candlewicking supplies… Simple, 100% cotton natural muslin fabric and 100% cotton natural candlewicking thread..
I looked online at some of the major craft/fabric stores in the area but there is nothing on line. I went to one of the stores the other day and the girl took me to the candle isle.
Does anyone know where I can find the right thread and maybe even if it’s available in different colors…

Saturday, August 15th, 2009Double-faced embroidery is one kind of Chinese silk with thin material. There are two pictures on the two sides of double-faced embroidery. They are so thin and delicate. It fully demonstrates the high-level quality.

Sunday, March 29th, 2009I just bought new curtains and they are wrinkled coming out of the package?
Saturday, February 28th, 2009They are “faux silk” made of 70% polyester and 30% rayon, and say “dry clean only.” How can I get the wrinkles out if I can’t iron it? I don’t really want to pay to have them dry cleaned! I thought of misting them with water and seeing if that would help the wrinkles to fall out, but there’s also embroidery and I’m afraid the colour may not be set and it will run and ruin the rest of the cream coloured curtain. Are there other alternatives?
