How can I kill ants by my hummingbird feeder without harming the birds?
Tuesday, May 19th, 2009I have a hummingbird feeder, and ants have just discovered it. I want some way to kill them without any risk of harming the birds - Trying to avoid an ant maybe dragging a little poison on the feeder, the birds attracted to the poison, etc.
I was thinking about a Grants kills ants stake, but I’m not sure.
Thanks a lot!

I need some gardening help please?
Thursday, April 2nd, 2009I just covered my garden with a 4 mil thick plastic covering and put wood chips over that. I did it 2 years ago, but the squirrels, rabbits, and birds poke or dig holes through the plastic to get the worms underneath. I would really appreciate any ideas to keep them away before they poke and dig through so the weeds won’t grow through. I went to Home Depot and seen a spray for just that purpose, but it was to expensive. Please help! My use-to-be garden is 15 feet by 22 feet.

Saturday, February 21st, 2009How to stop bird pecking on reflective window?
Saturday, February 21st, 2009We get woken up by birds pecking on our windows each morning. Our windows are made of reflective glass (similar to one-way windows). Is there a way we can stop the birds doing this and waking us up. It is usually just one bird that does it rather than several. I am not sure if it is the same bird each time.
