How do you transfer tomatoes from the garden to a pot?

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

I learned a little about container gardening from a brief class at my church, but they dicussed growing from seeds or starter plants from the store. I have a full grown tomato plant I want to bring part of inside.

How do you build a model of a fort?

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

Hi, I’m doing a project in my history class on the French and Indian War and one of the options for the project could be to build a model of Fort Duquesne. Um the project is due Wednesday? haha. And I know that if I work hard enough I can build a fort within 4 days. It has to be around 2 feet long. Not big and not small.
I don’t really know what to make it out of so if anyone has any cool ideas that would be great! I would also appreciate any tips for making it, etc.
thank you to everyone who answers:)

i have to build a model of an atom. any ideas for materials?

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

i have to build a model of gallium (ga) for science. It should be made out of household materials, but i can do a little shopping. anything as far as like sprinkler equipment or something would work.

the basic parts i need are:
1. 31 protons—ANYTHING will work
2. 39 neutrons—-ANYTHING will work
3. 4 progressively larger rings for the 4 energy levels or shells.
3. 31 electrons to fit on the rings. i need 31 here.

one plan i had was to use bolts stuck into a stryafome ball as protons and neutrons then washers as electrons. I really have no idea what to use for the rings.

also, it has to be strong so no candy models or anything. my science teacher doesn’t want to have a bunch of protons rolling around.

thanks
please be creative.

ANYTHING works

Is reading an effective way to improve one’s writing?

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

My writing skill is very bad. I find it very difficult to express my feelings and ideas into words. At the same time I need to widen up my vocabulary. What is the most effective way to improve my writing skill? Does reading really help? Is it impossible to improve one’s writing in a short period of time ?

English is a second language for me. Is it true that all the native speakers are naturally good in English and writing ?

May I go to church with my liberal christian friend tomorrow morning?

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

Will I, as an atheist, be welcomed like all others with open arms?
Will they accept my donation of 10 bags of flour for the church?
Will I be refused entry, since they know I’m an atheist?
I just want to view the beautiful stained glass and beautiful murals.

How can I meet people who are interested in Creative Memories?

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

I have tried the home shows, craft fairs, and some other ideas already. But so far no luck. I have also tried going through my family and friends but I have hit a dead end on that road. I would love to work this business. I truly believe in there products to be the best on the market but . . . . I just can’t seem to find people in my area that want to host a party or even get involved with scrapbooking. Any suggestions?????

The only place I know off to write a letter is e-mail. How do I write a letter without the e-mail format? Sorry, I’m a novice when it come down to computers, but I can make a mean Stained Glass Window!
