Algebra II - Solving Linear Systems (Three Variables) With Inverse Matrices?

Sunday, October 4th, 2009

I am usually good with word problems, but this one has me stuck.

“You are making mosaic tiles from three types of stained glass. You need 6 squae feet of glass for the project and you want there to be as much iridiscent glass as red and blue glass combined. The cost of a sheet of glass having an area of 0.75 square foot is $6.50 for iridiscent, $4.50 for red, and $5.50 for blue. How many sheets of each type should you purchase if you plan to spend $45 on the project?”

Assume x is for iridiscent, y is for red and z is for blue. What would the three equationgs in the system be? From then on, I can solve it with matrices.

Why are churches so intolerant these days?

Monday, September 21st, 2009

The moment my girlfriend and I entered, stained glass exploded, walls bled and Christian symbols ignited. Do you know how disturbing that can be to 2 people just trying to have sex?
Well, there are 13 of us now. Time to call the Master. Billie & Revelation guy–you two better hide under the table.

Is an art museum a center of idolatry?

Sunday, September 20th, 2009

Art museums are filled with graven images, likeness of angels and other things in heaven above, of people and animals on the earth beneath, and even creatures from the water under the earth.

From many answers I’ve seen here in R & S, those are idols, making art museums centers of idolatry. True?

If not, why would a church with pictures, scultures, and stained glass images of Jesus and the saints be a center of idolatry?

Are these Glass Plus wipes safe for Laptop Screens?

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

It says I can use it on fiberglass and TVs among other things.

But is it really safe?

Need to know before I try.

And is rubbing alcohol safe to use on the key board to get rid of the oil stains?
http://glassplus.com/images/prod_wipes.jpg

That’s what they are if you only know them by sight.
Oh I don’t eat at the computer.

It’s just the natural oils that come off the skin.

please help me name this book?

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

So it’s about a guy who works with stained glass. It takes place in England in the Middle Ages (ish). There’s a love affair involved. It was quite sad. I think there was also a priest, or some other religious figure.

I think the book was gold in color.
