What is meant when they ask you what your “SAT verbal” is? is this math/reading/writing combined?

I am filling out recruiting questionaires for volleyball and this is confusing. I’ve taken the SAT once so far and have my critical reading and math and writing scores for it. Nowhere on my score report does it have a ‘verbal’.

What book of the bible should I start a daily reading in?

I’m starting a journeling bible study based on quite times, but I’m having a hard time finding the right book to start reading in. my friend wants me to read Romans with her, but I’m not sure thats where God is leading me…
I am also doing this study along with a book called “The pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer
I realize now, that God was leading me towards Romans. I’m also gonna read some of the psalms and proverbs.

Is reading a book as bad for the eyes as using a computer screen?

In a recent ‘Don’t Die Young’ TV programme, Dr Alice Roberts said one of the reasons you need screen breaks was that you blinked less often when looking at a screen, and therefore you eyes needed a rest to regain lubrication. Does the same thing happen when you are reading a book?

I am trying to transfer colleges, and i have to write an essay on this topic:
The 18th century French philosopher Denis Diderot said, “Only passions, great passions can elevate the soul to great things.” Describe one of your passions and reflect on how it has contributed to your personal growth

My passion is reading. I wrote how books taught me everything i know, gave me perspectives, and is like my friend.

Does anyone know where to get blood pressure reading training, of audio of BP sounds?

I am a physical therapy student and my BP reading training I recieved in school is less than acceptable. Does anyone know a website or CDs that contain audio of blood pressure and heart sounds for training? Thanks!
